DIPLOMA IN CREATIVE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTThe Diploma in Creative Professional Development offers undergraduate students the chance to spend a year between Year 2 and 3 of their course exploring their employability options through a structured programme of input sessions and work-based learning. The aim of the course is to provide you with an opportunity to gain industry insight, develop your employability skills through a series of supported experiences, expand your network and build your confidence in the workplace.
YOUR FUTURE Your professional preparation will be tailored to your chosen career trajectory. As a trained actor you will be well placed to not only get work as an actor within more conventional contexts such as stage, film and TV, but you will also be equipped to create new work innovating performance practice(s) at the edges of the specialism. Gaining many transferable skills such as pitching and commissioning, writing and teamwork, you will be equipped to take on a variety of roles where excellent communication, analytical, presentational, and inter-personal skills are required.

Assessment method
The University assesses you through the coursework you produce as you complete each unit. Each unit will require you to present a body of creative work which may include recorded finished performance pieces of work and rehearsals, written work, your research, and a reflective journal which allows you to evaluate your learning and highlight your strengths and areas for further development.
