The University's largest campus is in Burwood, about 45 minutes by tram from the Melbourne CBD. The campus has around 27,700 undergraduate and postgraduate on-campus students pursuing courses in arts, business, education, environment, health sciences, information technology, law, management, media and communication, nursing and midwifery, psychology, public health and health promotion, science, sport and visual, performing and creative arts. The Geelong Waterfront Campus is Deakin's newest campus, located on Corio Bay, in the central business district of Geelong. More than 4,500 students are based at the Geelong Waterfront Campus, which hosts the schools of Architecture and Built Environment, Health and Social Development, Psychology, and Nursing and Midwifery, as well as the Faculty of Business and Law. The original campus of Deakin University is located in the regional city of Geelong in the suburb of Waurn Ponds, 72 kilometres south west of Melbourne. The campus student's population of more than 7,100 pursue courses in arts, education, engineering, management, media and communication, medicine, health sciences, information technology, psychology and science. The Warrnambool Campus close to local surf beaches and popular tourist attractions in close proximity to the Great Ocean Road and The Twelve Apostles. A former Australian Government Treasury Ministry Chief of Staff, Andrew holds the record of being the youngest CEO of a public entity, when in 2009 at the age of 28 he was appointed CEO of the Institute of Public Accountants in Australia. Andrew graduate with a Bachelor Of Teaching (Secondary) and Bachelor Of Commerce in 2002.

Lindsay Maxted Chairman, Westpac Banking Corporation
Lindsay is one of Australia's most respected and influential businessmen. Currently the Chairman of Westpac Banking Corporation and Transurban Group, and Non-Executive Director of BHP Billiton, he is responsible for a combined market capital which is in excess of $200 billion. Lindsay completed his Diploma in Business at Deakin in 1974.
