St George's University of London is located in South London and is a constituent college of the University of London. St George's has its origins in 1733, and was the second institution in England to provide formal training courses for doctors.
The university is the only UK university based in a hospital, and is also the only university that specialises in healthcare and medicine. It has a dynamic research culture, with teams working to improve the health of people of all ages, from children to the elderly, in populations locally and globally.
