Geography embraces the study of human societies and their environment, and is one of the few subjects in which human and physical aspects of the environment are integrated. Our BA Geography degree offers a distinctive pathway through our geography programmes that emphasises skills and techniques in social as well as arts & humanities research, including ethnographic investigation, discourse analysis and archival research. Students are free to choose thematic modules from across the geography programme, which may include human and physical geography. These modules reflect our disciplinary expertise across three areas of geographical research: society, power & culture; population & society; and geosciences.Qualified teacher status (QTS)
